A few weeks after typhoon Ondoy our yellow labrador named Sam died. He had been a very good company and security guard of the house for so many years. We were left with Blackie, our black azcal (slang for native dog), as the only pet at home. But 3 months ago, Blackie also left us for good. Since then the house has been quiet. Barely 3 weeks ago I brought home a cute brown puppy who has been the object of our attention. I named her Kayumanggi because of her brown color. To formally welcome her into my lomographic world (as she'll definitely be one of the usual subjects of my future shots) I took these self-portraits with her. She seemed not shy in front of the camera. This set was part of the roll I experimented with sinigang or sour soup. These shots were towards the end of the roll so when rewound they were innermost in the spool. Compared to the rest, these exhibited unnoticeable effect except for warmer colors which I suspect must be the cause of the hot temperature.
