Transhumance [series, 11 images]
Transhumance, traditionally referring to the seasonal migration of livestock between pastures, represents a journey of necessity and survival. Animals, in their rhythmic interaction with nature, create meaningful passage even in their routine. Contrastingly, human life, especially in the urban workforce, rarely reflects this harmony. Consider a building under construction: from the outside, it stands seemingly unchanged day after day, its static appearance belying the flurry of activity within. Noises of work reverberate from its depths, and yet its exterior remains stoically the same—a haunting metaphor for the invisible evolution occurring in our own lives. "Transhumance" highlights this invisible transformation that is a stark metaphor for our own existence. Framed against the backdrop of a construction site, photos evoke an "invisible change", a sense of stillness amidst constant activity.
