the scheimpflug principle

i found this rolleiflex sl66 by accident in a camera store on the occasions drawer. i actually was there with my man who looked for some equipment. i saw the rollei for a fairly good price and bought it. i never herard about the camera before, but this tilt feature caught me in a second. it needs some time to learn how it works and what it is good for, but when you got it you GOT it. the lens is very sharp (good enough) and i like it's soft tone it has especially in grey areas and on the edges without loosing sharpness. the camera itself isn't a beauty but the functionality is great, everything is well thought and crafted and intuitively arranged. a solid special camera which is an awesome addition to my bronicas and mamiyas.
