One night on my way home I bought 2 kilos of freshly harvested peanuts from one of the many sidewalk vendors in Alabang junction. The following day, I put the peanuts into a pot and washed them thrice with running water. Then I added a liter of water and a teaspoon of sea salt and put the pot on to the fire to boil. In half-an hour, I got hot tasty juicy boiled peanuts. Easy recipe for a fabulous brain food!
