Would you also like photos with amazing red, green, blue and yellow shades? You can easily make ones to put behind and in front of your lens on your own!
I took this photo at the zoo in Singapore when we were there in April. I shot this at 1600 ASA and used a Hoya FL-DAY filter (which is sort of pink) and an 85C filter.

Visit to Sheldrick elephant orphanage was heartbreaking for me. To see those baby elephants without parents and to learn about hard work in saving them was too much to take. People kill elephants for ivory on a grand scale, now using machine guns and poisoning lakes. Baby elephants experience such stress, they rarely survive without help. Orphanage workers have to sleep with baby elephants in their sheds in order to calm them down. Throughout the years orphanage has helped about 800 baby elephants. Much more elephants been killed every year. It's a lost war. In 10 years time there will be no elephants left in Africa.

As I am spending less time than I like to shoot in the day, I have been experimenting with films that will complement the Olympus Trip 35 for night time shooting.
I found these slides in a box at a boot fair. I had to save them! They are shots from Egypt in 1966, its history, and i didn't want them to get lost or thrown away! Enjoy!

Fresh film from Finland, processed in Rodinal like Tri-X400@1600, 1+50, 17.35 minutes at 20.5°C. I love its contrast... Very thin film, uneasy to handle but quite flat. It doesn't like poor light or 1/2 stop over-exposure.
