We spent a few days in the Coachella Valley around Christmas time, including Palm Springs, San Jacinto State Park and Joshua Tree National Park. I took along a small Sony digital camera and, more importantly, my trusty Leica M4 with its Summicron 35 f2 ASPH lens. I packed a few rolls of LomoChrome Metropolis in addition to Ilford HP5+. For fun I also had a Lomography Simple Use camera loaded with LomoChrome Purple film.

This is one of my sunflowers with some of the developing seeds already pecked out by the birds. Unfortunately the wet weather resulted in the heads getting moldy so I was not able to harvest any seeds.
