This series in inspired from the "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji" by the Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai. This series, created just before the invention of the photography, shows the daily street life along the Tokaido road, with the Mount Fuji dominates the background in its full majesty. In this series the Baradello Castle, a military fortification located on a high hill next to my city Como, called the Stone Guardian, is photographed from different locations and in various seasons and weather conditions

Poros is a small island very close to Athens, ideal for weekends. Luckily, I have a friend who lives there and I visit her from time to time. These shots were taken at the beginning of August 2017, with my Minolta Dynax 505 and a Fuji Superia 200 iso.

Un grazie alla Società per il permesso di pubblicare queste foto al fine di scrivere un articolo. Nella prima foto di quest'album potete vedere un vecchio rifugio antiaereo della seconda guerra mondiale che serviva per i ricoverati dell'ospedale cittadino presente nella stessa grotta ai piedi del Castel Baradello.

Nadirah was in London for a while, so we decided to do some doubles.
Nadirah shot her layer at the Wapping Project Bankside gallery where we went to see Paolo Roversi exhibition, and around Tate Modern gallery.
I shot my layer at Kew gardens botanical gardens and also used marylyn Monroe to spice things up.
Maybe this lady didn’t know that her portrait can turn out this awesome! Crazy analogue vibrations, eh? Done neatly in monochromatic tunes, too!
