I read a tipster a while back by @rjk_89 - Knockout Shots That'll Pack a Punch! And I just had to try it. So here it is. I use two sizes of star hole punches to make a mask for the 35mm back of my Diana with no frame inside. I then shot a roll on the Pano setting of brightly colored flowers on a sunny afternoon. Later that evening I reload the roll in one of my regular SLR's and headed to downtown Ann Arbor and shot it again. I like using the two frame widths, that way the stars are in different places on shot.
Doubles With Myself, I got the Idea from @weleasewoger72. First I shot this roll normal in my Diana with the Pano Frame. Then because I also shoot Bulk film I have reusable film canisters, so I popped the Lomo film out of it's original can and untaped it from it's spool and turned it over and retaped it to one of mine, wound it back in so it would be Redscale. Then reshot it in a regular SLR. I did realize while shooting the normal pass in the Diana that the way I was going to DIY Redscale that the horizontal frames would be upside down, so I did shoot some of the Diana frames holding the camera upside down. I also scan the roll twice (emulsion up and down) so that I could get as much as the writing to read the right way as possible. It was fun i will likely do it again.
First shot this roll in March during our premature spring when every tree and brush exploded into bloom. Then ran it a second time through my Nikon in July around town one morning on my way into work.
More Kodak Ektachrome Slide Duplicating Film-Bulk. More of My Sunflowers and other wild flowers in my side yard. I'm still playing around with shooting exposure (starting at 6 ISO) and scan settings. I sure I still have 350 Feet (107 Meters) to play with. That is if I can shoot it all before it Really Goes Off.
I used Kodak Ultramax 400 film, but treated it as though it was a 200 since I was exposing the wrong side. I used a green filter on many of the shots and set the ISO to 100 to complicate for the loss of light this caused - it was a nice sunny day and so this was not a problem.
