For some time I was covering a firework competition in Hannover. It happened in the Herrenhäuser Gärten, the royal Garden of the Welfen. The statues of females are fantastically bizarre, with creatures on their heads and action that are hard to decypher. But I enjoy them because of that.

Half of the roll was shot in Freiburg on a long autumn walk with my sister in November 2012, the rest was shot in February 2013 around the place I work at in Düsseldorf, exactly four months later.
January 2nd, 2020 was just starting. We decided to spend the day in Tangier, Morocco. It was very easy (but a bit expensive) to cross the sea from Tarifa, Spain. In Tangier, the weather was so sunny and warm (24°C), it was just crazy. The city is amazing, and I tried my first Metropolis 120 film, with my Lubitel 166U.
Just one day after our arrival in Nouna, we get the big chance to see the closing day of the International Festival of Masks and Arts of Dédougou #festima. Dédougou is just 55 km from Nouna. With my brother @vicuna and other friends, we looked after these guys, wearing leaves from head to feet and a large mask. We find them after 20 minutes, and we met this incredible group in several places in Dédougou.

Still among my favourite places in Brazil. Niteroi with its Museu de Arte Contemporânea by Oscar Niemeyer is the perfect example how architecture can change the image of a city. Just opposite of Rio de Janeiro this place is worthwile a trip with the ferry no matter what weather awaits you. Happy that Bea took me and Steve there...

Last film manipulation with mint tea, coffee, alka seltzer, cinnamon which identify my daily life. Used at home last time and being amazed everytime I look them. It kind of gave the effect of my mood during the holiday in Istanbul. Dots. Dots. Dots.
I tried for the first time the Diana F camera, with a Lomo Color Slide X-Pro 200 expired film. It was the first very sunny weekend of march, and it was my birthday !

Testing the Carl Zeiss T Biotar 58/2 lens (17 blades model) and I'm really impressed by the quality of the lens and the beautiful bokeh it produces.
