Though I own a modern, top-of-the-line camera, I often reach for my screenless, old-school gear. There’s a kind of sacred focus it demands—no distractions, no instant gratification. I shoot with intention, then wait. I savor that in-between, the space where memory and curiosity collide. When the photos finally reveal themselves, they arrive not as replicas of a scene, but as echoes—tinged with light leaks, smudges, and serendipity.
