Another test roll with my relatively new Nikon F3. I used the Caffenol Delta recipe to develop using the development time from the Cafffenol website, i.e. 9 minutes at 20 degrees C. The results are a little different from what I got before when I used this film developer combination, but I think last time I may have used a different recipe. I think I could have the CM-RS recipe that includes salt. The result here is are not what I would expect from Delta 400, which (in my experience) tends to be a fast mid contrast film, but as you can see most of these shots are moody high contrast images, something I would expect from a 50 ISO film or lower, so I’m not sure what went on here but I’m beginning to question the accuracy of the light on my 25 + year old Nikon F3. I’m still happy with the results even though I will probably never be able to repeat them. Such are joys of film photography.
