Nice looking airport- too bad about the jerks at security!

So I politely asked the security team to hand inspect my film. Yes they said, and asked me to wait past the scanner. Well that was nice I thought... until I saw my bag of film rolling through the X-Ray machine! "Mah colleeg sez it iz no probleym" I'm told by some ignorant twit. "C'est probleme pour moi!" I told them. They didn't care. Just a heads-up for my fellow photo nerds out there.

    I live near Lyon, so I often fly to LYS. And it's always the same problem with my film rolls. I ended up buying X-ray proof pouches (with lead) to protect my films. So, they have to check them by hand (often not knowing what a film is!!), but my films are protected!

    Ketchfoto- I too travel with a lead pouch- and this episode made me glad I do! I was most upset by the security staff lying to my face >:(
